I want to let you know about some additional help that's available to you if you're serious about being more patient, especially if you:

  • Get too easily annoyed with your kids

  • Feel stressed and overwhelmed

  • Are feeling guilty or ashamed about "losing it" with your kids

  • Seem to have lost your capacity to be patient

  • Feel like you're doing all the right things - sleeping well, eating well - but are still struggling

Even if it's been this way for years, there are things you can do to improve your patience.

Being a parent is great. But having kids is inherently difficult at times and sometimes our best intentions get hijacked by stress. If you don't seem to have enough patience, or you've been "losing it" with your kids, you might be feeling guilty and ashamed.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

Patience really comes down to two things:  are you already at your capacity, and are you able to put the brakes on your unwanted behaviour?

If you want to be a better parent, you've got to have the capacity of a better parent.

That's where my programme, the Brain Based Parent, comes in.

I help you increase your patience by improving your brain's capacity:

  • If you get annoyed too easily, your underlying stress levels are higher than they should be and you're hitting "fight or flight mode" too quickly.

  • If you can't control your reactions, your brain isn't able to stop your unwanted behaviour.
